Elies Monxolì Cerveró

During the whole week of the festival, Elies from 8.00 to 8.30 will hold a course based on mental and body relaxation to decrease the tensions of the musicians in their daily performances and to improve performances.

Elies Moncholí Cerveró studied music at the Valencia Conservatory, and finished it at the Madrid Royal Conservatory of Music with Francisco Burguera, obtaining the title of Superior Horn Professor. Expand studies with Dale Clevenger, Eric Terwilliger, Martin Hackleman, Fergus McWilliam and others.

He has worked as a solo horn (and / or tutti) for the Euskadi Symphony Orchestra, the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra, the National Orchestra of Spain, the Madrid Symphony Orchestra and the Orquesta de València, among others.
He is currently a solo horn at PluralEnsemble and a horn teacher at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid.
He has played and interpreted poems by some great poets such as Salvador Espriu, Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel, Mario Benedetti or Kostantinos Kavafis (recorded on CD). He has completed doctorate studies in music at the Autonomous University of Madrid and literature at the Complutense University in the same city.
