Lirio Mangalaviti was young. Out of curiosity, interests, prowess (more intellectual and physical) continues to be, in spite of about forty years of disjointed interventions in the world of publishing, information and journalism. Yes, to him and to the wicked complicity with Leonardo Romanelli they owe the birth in 1998 and the growth (until 2010) of Gola Gioconda, shining and inimitable example of easygoing magazine dedicated to the pleasure of table. From the same dreamlike union the Cento boards in take shape Tuscany, Cento Vignaioli in Toscana, Pappa & ciccia and the creation of the deGustiBooks brand and the homonymous review that for half a dozen years brought together on the same occasion artisans of taste with authors and books dedicated to the culture of food. In short, thanks to these experiences grow one certain familiarity with the universe of good food and good drink, nourished from knowledge, readings (not as many as he would like), relationship skills; is represented by the words he puts together to tell people, excellences, territories.
