B.Maderna Conservatory

B.Maderna Conservatory

In 1970 was established a separate section of the Conservatory G. B. Martini in Bologna, the nearest Conservatory at the regional level. In those years because there was a renewed interest in studying professional music, an interest which led to the establishment of several new educational reality-music, which in the form of separate units of the neighboring conservatories, have increased the sense of largely positive situation asphyxiated music of that time.
The detached section of the Conservatory of Bologna at Cesena has worked fine up to To. A. 1987/88 year when the Academy had complete autonomy to intitolandosi Venetian composer and conductor Bruno Maderna.
The faculty has gradually stabilized, and now the Academy can count on high quality teaching staff, which provides a nearly optimal functioning of the Institute. A demonstration of what it says is sufficient to note that in these years the Conservatory has produced, in collaboration with the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna and with the decisive support of the Culture of the Municipality of Cesena and the Foundation of the Savings Bank Cesena, as educational tutorials, a dozen operas at the Teatro Bonci. Were made also some national conventions on composers of "900" Italian and a very significant number of orchestral and chamber music events. Feel obliged to note also that the unfortunate and inappropriate placement of the original detached section, the foyer of the Teatro Bonci, due to the sensitivity shown by the city of Cesena, is able to obtain the transfer of its current location Conservatory of "Palazzo Guidi ". This site is suited to a prestigious and important artistic and educational music realities of the city and unique in Romagna.
