 The center is housed in three large buildings historical monuments - Rocca, Rivellino, Guesthouse - located a few tens of meters apart, to form a single complex at the top of the town of the ancient town of Bertinoro, in a quiet and hospitable. Designed and built in 1994 by Ser.In.Ar S-p-A. (The company that promotes and supports the decentralization of the Alma Mater at Forlì and Cesena), the Centre hosts residential training courses, seminars, workshops and conferences, study and research initiatives. Its management is entrusted to a special purpose company (Ce.UB Soc. Arl) which are part of the University of Bologna and Romagna, local Institutions Romagna and the City of Bertinoro.
  
The Ravelin
In Rivellino, or outpost of the Rock, have been obtained classrooms for lectures and conferences, as well as the secretariat of the Centre and some living spaces, opening onto the wide and panoramic terraces. From Rivellino is possible, after recent restorations, go directly to the Rock, along the old military walkway that connected the residence of the military garrison.

The Bishop's Castle
The construction of the fortress, by the Counts of Bertinoro, dates from the early decades of the tenth century. It was thanks to its privileged position, one of the most feared defensive works and a safe refuge from the attacks of enemies.
The old mansion was well demarcated from the line of Ghibelline battlements (re-emerged after the recent restoration and visible from outside the Court), interrupted by four high towers, whose foundations are still visible.

 Some rooms on the main floor of the Rock are decorated with important frescoes of the fifteenth, sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, in part found during the recent restoration.
On the ground floor of the fortress is a museum on Interreligious civilizations and cultures of the three monotheistic religions, in connection with the activities of "Mediterraneum", an agreement between the University of Bologna, Jerusalem, Ankara, Thessalonica, Tunis, Heidelberg, Gregorian, Anthony, studies and meetings on issues and problems of a religious nature. The recovery of the residential and educational complex was made possible with funding Jubilee of Credit Institutions and local bodies, of the University, the Diocese, the ER region of Ser.In.Ar., the town of Bertinoro of individual citizens. The Centre has a large guest house, located in 'ex-seminary and the 2 nd and 3 rd floor of the Rock in extremely comfortable.
Adjacent to the lodge is working, during the conduct of courses, a dining hall able to accommodate around 200 people, self-service or buffet. Upon request, the kitchens are able to provide complete meals.
